A group of over 30 participants, mainly DIP incubatees, joined the “7+1 Trip” on 19-20 Jul to explore potential business opportunities unleashed by the Greater Bay Area (GBA) for creative industries.

They first visited some companies in the Guangzhou TIT Creative Industry Zone, including Nonoodle, ZENS, WeChat headquarter and their off-line store, WeStore. They then went to a co-working space, JoinUs, where an experience-sharing session was held to show how Hong Kong veteran designers could expand their design businesses by making use of the resources and business networks in Guangzhou.

On the 2nd day, the group visited and exchanged views with different design hubs in Shenzhen, including Ehub, Shenzhen LKK Industrial Design Ltd Co, Sino-Finnish Design Park, and KL&K Design headquarter. It was a great chance for DIP incubatees to learn more about the key factors and upcoming trends for the future of the design and creative industries.
